This oil strainer sits between the oil pump and the engine and catches contamination before it enters your lubrication system. In an older air-cooled engine, this part is often worn or clogged, so replacing it is not overkill. We supply the original type 311 115 175A and 111 115 175B, suitable for all classic Volkswagens from T1 to T3, Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181. Combine this with a fresh oil filter and new oil for a completely clean lubrication system.
