This magnetic drain plug (OEM 113 115 193) catches iron particles from your oil - allowing you to see if there is wear in the engine - gearbox - or differential. It's simply more convenient than a standard bolt - and with every oil change - you can easily remove the magnet to check what's going on inside. Fits T1 - T2 - T3 - Beetle - and Karmann Ghia. Combine this with a magnetic plug for your crankcase or pointed distributor for extra wear control.
