This retaining nut sits under the oil filler neck and ensures your cover is securely fastened. Original part number 113 115 495, fits T1, T2a, T2b, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181. Small but essential if you are disassembling your engine or replacing your cover. Combine this with a new rubber gasket for the oil filler neck, which usually gets replaced at the same time.
