This rubber seal (111 115 475A) sits under the oil filler piece of your 25/30hp engine and prevents oil from leaking out along the outside of the cover. After years - the rubber becomes hard and porous - causing leaks—so a new one is not an unnecessary luxury. Combine this with a new oil filler piece itself if you're already at it.
