This extra sump provides an additional 1.4 liters of oil volume - handy for those who drive a lot or operate in warm climates. Especially for a tuned engine with more power - this offers extra lubrication capacity without needing to include a filter. Suitable for T1 - T2a - T2b - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia and Type 181. Combine this with an external oil cooler for even better temperature control on hot days.
