The valve cover gasket (111 101 481) ensures that your engine does not leak oil from the top of the cylinder head. For a 25/30 hp engine in your T1 - Beetle or Karmann Ghia - this is a wear part that needs to be replaced every few years - especially if you notice oil leaking from the cover. The original profile ensures a perfect seal without additional modifications. Combine this gasket with a new valve cover if you are already working on it.
