Set of four valve seats with a diameter of 40 mm for the air-cooled Type 1 engine in the VW T1 Bus, T2 Bus, Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Type 181. The seats are pressed into the cylinder head and form the sealing surface on which the valve head closes. Replacement is common during cylinder head overhaul or after a valve has sunk into its seat.
