This valve spring (111 109 623) sits under the valve cover and ensures that your intake and exhaust valves close properly after each stroke. In 25 and 30hp engines - these springs wear out after years and thousands of miles - leading to poor compression and rough idling. A replacement set will give you that fine feeling of a well-sealing engine again. Combine this with a new valve cover and gasket for a complete overhaul kit.
