This cast piston and cylinder set is in the range between 101.00 mm and 97.20 mm and fits the classic air-cooled engines of the T1, T2, Type 3, and Karmann Ghia. This is your solution if the original cylinders show wear but you don't necessarily need forged ones. The cast version offers a solid ratio between price and durability for a reliable overhaul. Combine this with a new packing head and seals for a complete engine refurbishment.
