These main bearings are the heart of your engine block: they ensure that the crankshaft rotates smoothly without play or wear. The dimensions Ca 1.50, Cr 0.50, and a width of 20mm fit in almost all Type 1 engines and derived blocks in Beetle, T2, and KG. Always replace them in sets and make sure the bearing shells are clean and degreased before installation. Combine this with a new crankshaft gasket for a complete engine overhaul.
