This case saver prevents your crankshaft from leaking where the oil dipstick screws into the block. By converting the original 5/8" BSF thread to M10, you get a stronger, more reliable seal that will no longer leak when you want to check the oil level. Fits all classic air-cooled Volkswagen models from T1 to Type 181. Combine this with a new oil dipstick and fresh o-ring for a completely watertight result.
