VW T1 Bus - T2 Bus - Beetle - KG | Sump plate
The sump plate keeps oil splash contained in the crankcase and prevents the crankshaft from churning through the oil. This part is essential for a clean-running engine and reliable oil pressure. On your T1 - T2 or Beetle - this plate can sometimes get damaged or deformed - especially if you drive a lot or have performed maintenance on the crankcase. This replacement plate fits perfectly and helps keep your engine block tidy again.
