VW T1 Bus - T2 Bus - Beetle - KG | Half moon crankshaft - small | 113 105 249
This half-moon (Woodruff key) ensures that your crankshaft remains firmly connected to the pulley. If your engine vibrates or your pulley slips around the crankshaft - this key is often worn or missing. Replace it preventively if you already have the pulley off. Combine this with a new crankshaft pulley and belts to completely renew your front end.
