This spacer gear sits between the crankshaft and the camshaft gear and ensures correct timing. It is a simple but indispensable part that wears out over the years and can start to wobble - especially if you have driven a lot of kilometers. Replacement is not difficult and is part of a complete camshaft overhaul. Combine this with a new camshaft gear and crankshaft gear for a complete tune-up of your drivetrain.
