VW T1 Bus - T2 Bus - Beetle - KG | Crankshaft gear clip for distributor drive | 111 105 227
This clamp (111 105 227) holds the crankshaft gear in place - preventing the distributor shaft from shifting. The part may look simple - but without this clamp - your ignition timing will be off - and your engine won't start properly. Original plastic VW clamps deteriorate after decades - so a sturdy replacement part is useful. Combine this with a new distributor kit if you're already working in that area of the engine.
