The Engle VZ 14 is a popular camshaft for those who want to get a little more RPMs and power out of their engine without going overboard. With a significant lift and duration, your engine will really pick up differently, although you do have to take into account a rougher idle and higher valve clearances. This cam works well in motorized T1 and T2 engines and is also suitable for Type 3 and Karmann Ghias, as long as you tune the entire valve train system properly. Combine it with appropriate cylinder head work and a tuned carburetor for the best result.
