VW T2 Bus | Camshaft Gear Type 4
The camshaft gear is located between your camshaft and crankshaft and ensures that the valve mechanism operates precisely on time. For Type 4 engines - this gear is critical for reliable operation - so if you have wear or have had an engine disassembled - replacement is not a luxury. This part fits T2a - T2b - T3 - and all Type 4 variants. Combine this with a new timing chain and crankshaft gear for complete timing maintenance.
