VW T1 Bus - Beetle - KG | Camshaft sealing plug 25/30hp | 111 101 157
This end plug (OEM 111 101 157) seals the hole in the engine block where the camshaft protrudes. On T1 models and Karmann Ghias with 25/30hp engines - this part is located behind the timing belt - so you don't see it directly - but without this plug - oil can leak from the engine casing. It's a simple yet essential piece that you should check carefully during an engine overhaul or if you have lubrication issues. Combine this with a new sealing set to ensure everything seals watertight.
