The camshaft bearings ensure that your camshaft can rotate smoothly and open and close all valves at the right moment. These are the standard original bearings with OEM number 111 198 541 - suitable for T1 - T2a - T2b - T3 - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia and Type 181. They are essential during an engine overhaul - especially if you have ground the old bearings or if they have developed play. Combine these with a new camshaft chain and sprockets for a complete engine maintenance package.
