These main bearings are the foundation of your engine block: they keep the crankshaft precisely where it should be and distribute the load evenly across the entire block. With a Ca value of 1.00 and Cr of 1.25, you have the standard size that belongs in almost all Type 1 engines, from the first Beetle up to the T3. Always replace them in sets and immediately pair them with a new crankshaft seal, as the two work together.
