These original main bearings (111 198 479) fit the classic air-cooled engines of the T1 up to and including T3, as well as the Beetle and Karmann Ghia. The dimensions Case: 0.50 and Crank: 1.00 are standard tolerances for a heavily used engine with normal wear. They directly support the crankshaft and are essential for smooth engine operation without rattling in the block. Combine these with a new crankshaft seal kit for a complete service.
