These main bearings 111 198 473 are the standard version for the Type 1 engine and fit all classics with 1200, 1300 and 1500cc blocks. With the measurements Ca: 0.50 and Cr: 0.25, you're good if you have a standard bore, and they work in T1s to T3s and, of course, in your Beetle or Karmann Ghia. Combine them with a new crankcase gasket and clean oil for the best results.
