These main bearings belong in every Type 1 engine and ensure your crankshaft rotates smoothly without play. With standard dimensions of Case 0.50 and Crank 0.25 at 20mm width, they fit T1, T2a, T2b, T3, and also your Karmann Ghia or Type 181. They are essential maintenance for any engine intervention, so check them if you are already looking at an overhaul. Combine them with a new gasket set for a completely refreshed engine.
