These main bearings are the standard version for Type 1 engines and fit all classic Volkswagens with the original construction. The measurements Ca: 0.25 and Cr: 1.50 are the correct tolerances for a healthy engine block without wear, while the standard width ensures correct play in the block. Check your current bearings for these measurements before ordering, as sometimes a different gap format is needed. Combine these bearings with a new bearing shell for a proper seal.
