These main bearings fit under the cork of your Type 1 block and are exactly what you need if the original ones show signs of wear or if you are planning an overhaul. The dimensions Ca: 0.25 and Cr: 1.25 with a width of 21mm are standard for classic air-cooled Volkswagen engines up to and including Type 3. For a complete engine overhaul, combine these with a decent gasket set and new piston rings.
