This flywheel with 109-tooth starter ring gear is intended for 6-volt systems in T1 - Beetle - and Karmann Ghia. The replacement part 111 105 271 ensures reliable starter motor contacts and mounts directly to the crankshaft. Carefully check your generator conversion: an unsuitable tooth combination leads to poor starting behavior. Combine this with a clean starter cable and a reconditioned starter motor for optimal starting power.
