These reinforced clips hold the non-guided thrust bearing in place in the engine. These are two original VW clips (113 141 177A) - which together form a pair and are necessary for reliable disassembly and assembly. When replacing bearing shells or during an engine overhaul - you will inevitably come into contact with these. Combine these clips with a complete bearing shell set for a full overhaul.
