These HD pressure plate bolts are the tool for replacing a clutch on your air-cooled VW. The set of 6 is sufficient for a complete job - and the heavy-duty design prevents them from shaking loose under the power of your engine. Especially if you're putting higher pressure on your clutch - it's better to use robust bolts than standard ones. Combine this with a new pressure plate and clutch disc for a complete overhaul.
