This bearing is located at the front of your primary shaft and ensures smooth-running gears. The OEM number 113 309 123A is essential if your gearbox is running rough or you hear grinding from the clutch. For T1 and Karmann Ghia models - this is a standard replacement part that is best done immediately when the engine is out. Combine this with a new primary bearing at the rear for a complete overhaul kit.
