This double-tapered bearing is located at the rear of your secondary shaft and carries a significant load. The OEM number 091 311 219 fits T2a, T2b, T3, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181 models. When it shows wear, you'll notice it in the form of play in the gearbox or a rumbling noise while driving. Combine this with the front bearing and possibly new seals for complete maintenance.
