This pinion and ring gear set gives your Beetle, T1 or Karmann Ghia a different gear ratio of 3.44, which is especially useful if you have a powerful engine installed and want to utilize more power. The crescent version fits the standard rear axle and is forged for durability. Please note: this is not a standard ratio, so make sure your current differential housing is properly machined to size. Combine this with a complete differential set if you also want to replace the rest of the internal parts.
