VW T1 Bus - T2 Bus - Beetle - KG | Gearbox plugs - 3 pieces | 113 311 599 (x3)
These gearbox plugs seal the openings in the casting where internal channels meet. You need three per gearbox - and they are under tension because they work against oil pressurization. For classic air-cooled VWs such as the T1 - T2 - and Beetle - these are OEM numbers 113 311 599 - which you better replace in threes at once. Combine this set with a new gearbox gasket for a neatly finished overhaul.
