These springs and locking pads ensure your synchromesh shifts smoothly in first and second gear of your 091 gearbox. They gradually wear out with normal use, so replacing them along with your synchromesh rings is standard maintenance. You will need two pieces of 113 311 249A and three pieces of 014 311 313. Combine this with a complete synchromesh kit for your gearbox.
