The synchronizer ring for 1st gear ensures that you can smoothly shift into and out of first gear without grinding or scratching the gearwheel. This replacement part (091 311 247C) fits the 091 gearbox of your T2b or T3 and - of course - wears out after years of use. Replace this ring along with the other synchronizer rings for a complete overhaul - and combine this with a new synchronizer hub package for maximum shifting precision.
