The gearbox nose (211 301 205H) is the part that closes off the front of your gearbox and guides the gear lever. This Karmann Ghia nose is subjected to pressure and wear, especially if you shift gears frequently or if the part has been in use for decades. Replacement is not difficult and will save you problems with oil leakage later on. Combine this with a new oil plug and gasket while you're at it.
