This reinforced hockey stick gearbox nose (OEM 113 311 541C) is the robust version for those who drive harder. The part connects your gearbox to the engine cover and has to absorb a lot of force - especially in T1s and Type 3s that are used regularly. The heavy-duty version lasts longer than the standard one and prevents rattling in the engine compartment. Combine this with a new set of rubber bolts for a repair according to the book.
