The engine mount rubber ensures that your Type 4 engine remains securely and vibration-free in the T2. This is the original rubber part - OEM number 021 199 231C - which usually needs to be replaced after years. Since your engine rests on it - it's worth replacing all mounting points and - for example - also addressing your engine block gasket.
