This rubber bump stop holder (211 501 505) prevents your rear axle from over-extending and provides a firm stop. The original Type 181 rubbers wear out and harden - leading to significant play in your suspension. With this replacement holder - you get the correct damping back without banging and rattling. Combine this with new shock absorbers for a complete rear axle refresh.
