This bump stop is located under your front axle and absorbs shocks when your suspension is fully compressed. It's a simple but important part that hardens over the years, causing your car to "clunk" more noticeably over bumps. VintageDub supplies this 65mm version (OEM 311 401 273A) for Type 3 models, so you can properly adjust your suspension again. Combine this with the other bump stops and your Type 3 will drive like new again.
