This bump stop for the link rod of your rear sway bar ensures that the connection between the bar and the chassis does not directly click together. Over time - these rubbers harden or tear - which causes play and a strange noise in the rear. For your T1 or Karmann Ghia - OEM number 113 501 737A is the correct part. Combine this with the other sway bar rubbers for a complete repair.
