Rubber buffer on the rear axle spring plate for the VW Beetle from 08/1968 and the Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 111 511 245E. The rubber sits on the spring plate and dampens vibrations. With age the rubber hardens and cracks, causing ticking noises over bumps.
