This sealing cap is located on the propeller shaft flange on the gearbox side and prevents dirt and moisture from entering the propeller shaft joint. For T2a - T2b and T3 - this part is crucial to prevent leaks - especially if you use your van frequently. The OEM number 002 517 289A ensures a perfect fit. Combine this with a new propeller shaft bolt and lock washer for a complete repair.
