This rubber-like seal prevents oil from leaking out the side of your gearbox. In a T2a - this seal can harden over the years and start to leak - which you'll immediately smell. The OEM number 002 301 189 ensures an exact fit like the original. Combine this with fresh gearbox oil and possibly other seals for a complete repair.
