VW Beetle, KG | Gear shift rod grommet between gearbox nose cone and chassis | 111 301 289B
This rubber bushing prevents oil from leaking from your gearbox along the gear shift rod. It sits between the nose cone of the gearbox and the chassis, where the rod passes through. After years of service, these rubbers become porous and start to leak. VintageDub carries replacement part 111 301 289B for all classic air-cooled models. Combine this with a new oil plug to fully seal your transmission.
