This guide bush is located at the front of your shift rod and ensures that it moves smoothly without play. After years - this bush wears out - causing your shifting to feel spongy or even get stuck in multiple positions. The original numbers 111 701 259A and 111 701 263 are no longer available - but this replacement does exactly the same job. Combine this with a new shift bolt and you'll have a tight shifting system.
