This small screw (OEM 211 711 189A) connects the shift rod to the coupling and is under considerable tension, so a sturdy M6 is not overkill here. Used on T1, T2a, T2b, Type 3, Karmann Ghia, Type 181 and Type 4. Combine this with a new clutch cable and retaining rings for a completely rebuilt shifting setup.
