This dust cover fits around the shift rod where it passes through the engine cover and keeps dirt and moisture out of your engine compartment. The original rubber perishes over time, so this replacement (OEM 211 711 167A) is a useful upgrade for T2a and T2b. Install it together with a new clutch cable or throttle slide for a clean-running engine compartment.
