The front axle bearings in your front beam are constantly under pressure and partly determine how your Beetle or Karmann Ghia handles on the road. These needle bearings (OEM 111 401 301) gradually wear out and cause play in the steering - so it's wise to replace them preventively during an overhaul. We supply them in pairs - both the upper and lower bearings - so you're ready immediately. Combine them with new steering coupling circlips for a complete front end.
