The front suspension of your T1 or Karmann Ghia rests on these torsion leaves - and they don't grow on trees. After decades - they are often weakened or bent - resulting in sloppy handling and unnecessary wear and tear on your steering tires. This is the standard version with OEM number 111 411 027 - so it's exactly what your VW left the factory with back then. Combine this with new rubber bump stops and your front suspension will feel like new again.
