The rubber on your rear camber rod slowly wears down due to constant movement and hardens with age. This replacement part (251 407 179) ensures that your wheel alignment remains stable and prevents your T3 from "hopping" over bumps. A worn bushing manifests as play in the steering and poor road holding. Combine this with the other radius rod rubbers for a complete replacement.
